Healthy & Active Living Trainings
Come join me in Denver at the Tribal Motor Vehicle Safety Summit. With a goal of decreasing death and injury on tribal lands, the Summit will offer workshops, peer exchanges, and plenary sessions for tribes and tribal agencies to learn, display, and teach their tailored countermeasures in a sensitive and culturally relevant way. Together, as committed traffic safety and public health practitioners, advocates, researchers, and future professionals, we will collaborate to discuss, learn about, and address vital, contemporary tribal traffic safety issues via a sharing of knowledge and evidence-based research and practices.

Your Local Public Library
Think Denver will be too cold?
Then please join me at your local Arizona public library for my FRANK Talk, “An Uneven Landscape: Inequities in Transportation, Community Planning and Land Management” during which we will answer the questions: “When a new highway is built, who does it benefit? Which communities are connected, and which communities are broken apart? Whose properties and which groups of people are valued? How has the development of transportation and land deepened inequities in our country? What steps can we take now to shape a different future?”
If you’d like to attend one of these discussions on the social, cultural, and economic impact of infrastructure development in diverse communities, scroll down the page at this link to the section entitled, “Schedule a FRANK Talk Program,” and work with your local public librarian to follow the directions for booking the talk.
