MGT has been the Senior Planner on planning and plan development contracts since 2010, and has written:

  • Four complete Alaska Tribal Safety Plans (for the Craig Tribal Association, the Native Village of Tanana, Klawock Cooperative Association, and the Gwichyaa Zhee Gwich’in Tribal Government). Tanana’s TSP development required MGT to work closely with Dave Barnes from the Alaska University Transportation Center out of the University of Alaska-Fairbanks to obtain Tanana area photos and current research information about dust abatement strategies in the Yukon River area of the Alaska Interior.
  • One New Mexico Tribal Safety Plan for the Pueblo de Cochiti.
  • 75% of a sixth Tribal Safety Plan for the Native Village of Ruby;
  • two Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plans for Pittsburg, Kansas and Girard, Kansas;
  • 20 Safe Routes to School Route/Travel Plans for various Arizona communities; including five Arizona tribes (the Yavapai-Apache, Navajo, and Tohono O’odham Nations, the Gila River Indian Community, and the Hualapai Tribe); and
  • Eight Active School Neighborhood Checklist Reports for Arizona communities.

Having completed the above planning contracts, MGT is quite proficient at the incorporation of:

  • crash data;
  • parcel and aerial maps utilizing Google Earth or regional map systems;
  • newspaper articles;
  • neighborhood site assessments, and
  • their accompanying photographs with captions into the plans they draft.
